Wrap Skills!

Here’s a short montage of pictures that were sent in to me, and if you continue reading below are the pics with a little bit of a description of what’s going on in them!

This was the first time I used a wrap, and I rented it from BWI Donegal. I was so excited, I posted to the page on Jan 5th, 2015, with the caption “Whohoo, we learned how to wrap! Yey!“.

I would have loved to have a coat like this one on Amazon!

I wanted to post a blog that shows that wrapping really isn’t that scary, and can in fact be fun, practical, and very very beautiful! But why take it from me, here’s some pics and stories from other women who are from all over the world.

Nap Time wrapped on mums back
Ariel Fassaert: Surviving nap time at the amusement park while my oldest went on rides with my husband. He was 7 months in this picture (oldest was 3) and I was 2 months pregnant with our 3rd child.

Sick Toddler Ups
Shelby Kruessel: Sick toddler who wants me to hold him but I have to cook etc. I’m amazed bc I didn’t wear him much as a baby and he doesn’t usually want up but when I get him up he doesn’t want down haha.

Shelby Kruessel: Baby sister gets worn a lot though so that I can care for her older brother too. It is my go to when she is fussy because it seems to calm her the easiest and quickest. I can nurse easily and discreetly in public. And get her to sleep while out and about living life (parades and hayrides this week-along with grocery shopping) I do have a SSC but I haven’t even tried it with her…theirs something about how snuggled in she is with the wrap that comforts us both. I can wrap around her or pre tie and use the fabric as a head rest etc. and I can lay her down in the wrap the easiest by just unwrapping and leaving it around her to kind of swaddle her as I lay her down. I also love how I don’t have to adjust my wrap going between my baby and my toddler and for my husband and then myself. The buckles we have to adjust and I honestly can’t remember how to even do that! So time wise, the wrap is easiest and quickest for me in a pinch with either kiddo and between my husband and myself bc no adjustment is needed!

Pretty Wrapping
Olivia Eberle My pictures are really just showing how pretty wrapping can be but this is Sawyer and he is five months.

Marjolein Audrey Banis: This screams fast up which it was. My preschooler does not fit most preschooler carriers also and rs is a hassle with her. She fits in wraps.

Marjolein Audrey Banis: Could be done with an rs But i had none Beachtowel

I love wrapping because it’s like wearing a piece of art! It’s a beautiful and practical way to soak up the baby snuggles that go by sooo quickly I’m Stephanie and this is my youngest Nicola, she’s just turned 6 months old

Jet Lag
Everett, 10 months. He’s my first kiddo, and we’ve been wrapping since the day we brought him home. When you’re just back from vacation and everyone is jet lagged and your baby doesn’t know what time it is so he’s refusing naps, there’s a wrap for that.

sleepy baby
Elyse Salley: He takes all his naps in wraps so definitely serene.
